The Star School, with a 20,000 sft area and spread across 4 floors, situated in AC Guards in Khairatabad, opened its doors from 1 Jul ’20. It was presented as a “Dream Project” in our last year Annual Meeting, and in a record time of 180 days, The Star School not only completed its construction but got furnished, equipped, staffed and had admitted 97 students to start its first academic year. It has a Computer Lab, a Science Lab, a Library, all class rooms with overhead projectors and high speed internet connectivity, cellar and terrace for physical activities, and qualified and dedicated teachers with standard student – teacher ratio of not more than 1:20. It has classes from Nursery to Class VI with a provision to add a class every year.
The Star School is a Non Commercial entity, though we intend to provide every facility which a so called “commercial school” offers. The objective of the school is the objective of Helping Hands – that no child should stay home for want of money to go to school, and it is not the fault of a child if he/she is born in a less-privileged family. It is easy to polish gold and make it glitter but it is a challenge to carve a rock into a diamond. At Helping Hands, we love to accept challenges!
At The Star School, we give equal importance to fun and activities. Since day one we exert our efforts to make the events student centric as we believe that today’s kids are tomorrow’s leaders! We celebrated Independence Day, Republic Day, Children’s Day, Teachers’ Day, Food Day, Veggie Day and for pre-primary even Orange Day, Yellow
