For the past 8 years, come rain or sun, the Sunday school at Qayam Nagar continued uninterrupted. With the help of Student-Volunteers, we teach English and Maths, help them with their homework and prepare them for their exams/assignments, followed by prayers and lunch. 120 to 140 students attend this Sunday school.
As a part of Sunday school, parents meetings are also organized from time to time to make them aware of their social/parental responsibilities and share our concern for a better tomorrow.
Annual Science Fair
Every year with the help and assistance from the Volunteers, Sunday School students at Qayam Nagar also organize a Science Fair wherein almost every student comes up with a model, or a project or poster and explain the same to the visitors. It’s a daylong event with the visit of their parents and other elders from the locality. The best presenters are awarded with attractive prizes.
Academic Tours

Helping Hands also take their students of Sunday School to various companies, factories, natural habitats etc to make them aware with the realities. On 18 Aug ’20 they were taken to Masqati Dairy, and on the way back to Pottery Unit and Deer Park, at the outskirts of Hyderabad. It was a one full day of enjoyment for our students and volunteers. All expenses including transportation and lunch were borne by Helping Hands.
